How do we pick a game for Discord game night?

1. Use GGPN’s website to shortlist games your group can play now, and share their game-page links in your own poll or chat.
2. For future ideas, visit GGPN Bot, add it to your server and run /new to choose an announcement channel.
3. Use Free only and co-op/multiplayer only if they suit the group. Both can be enabled together; the bot is not an event scheduler or voting tool.

Make a shortlist people can vote on

Use one message with three choices. For each, include the official link, cost per player, supported group size and the mode you want. Check those details yourself; a multiplayer label alone does not confirm online co-op or cross-play.

For a variety-gaming server, rotate the kind of game rather than just its title. Let members suggest an option, and include something approachable for newcomers.

Send a practical invite

Post the time in a way your members can interpret locally. Allow for downloads, accounts and tutorials. An unconfirmed playtest invite is a risky main event: not everyone may get access.

Keep a place for the next idea

A dedicated new-games channel can collect ideas between sessions. GGPN Bot can post matching new releases there, but it does not run your poll, schedule an event or choose a game everyone owns.

After the session, ask one question: would we play that again? Use the answers to improve next week’s shortlist. University clubs and casual groups can use exactly the same routine.
